Thrillist is a great website that features lists of everything you'd want to know -- along with a few you never thought to ask. In a recent list, they broke down the one must-eat food for each state. What would be your must-eat item in Washington? Let's see if it matches up to this.

According to this list, the must eat-item from Washington comes from a place called Etta's in Seattle. If you're ever in the area, you are advised to order the Dungeness crab cake.

It'd be stupid to ruin the subtle, sweet flavor, and tender texture of Dungeness crab by frying it like they do with blue crabs in Maryland, so chefs here -- most notably Tom Douglas, who has a whole book about crab cakes -- pack it loosely with breadcrumbs and other stuff before lightly grilling it.

I've never had this, but I'm intrigued. Most crab cakes don't taste much like crab to me, they seem like generic seafood with breading. But these apparently taste like crab. Count me in! You can find these at Pike's Place Market among other places around Seattle.

If you're visiting our neighboring states, they say that the french fries in Idaho, famous for their potatoes, at Boise Fry Co. are the way to go. And if you're in Oregon, look no farther than Newport's Local Ocean and their bacon-wrapped tuna mignon.

What's Yakima's must-eat item? Put your suggestions in the comments below.
