Yakima’s $8 PB&J Sandwich That’s Worth It!
The other day I stopped by a place in Yakima that I've driven by 100 times but finally decided to stop in to see what they had. One item caught my attention immediately so I knew I had to try it. I'm glad I did!
The place is Caffe Capri and I would always drive by as it looked like a place that I assumed served coffee and coffee-type drinks and maybe had muffins or something, too. I'm not a coffee drinker so I never had a reason to stop in but this particular day I figured I'd at least grab a muffin or something as I skipped breakfast. As it turns out they have a full menu that even has pizza on it. Nice!
The item that caught my attention was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but not prepared in a traditional way. This one is toasted and features pepper jelly and had an option for almond butter so I chose that.
Although a little more flat that I had anticipated (because of the toasting press) it turned out fantastic! I loved everything about it and am already craving another.
I also bought a chicken wrap for my wife that was so large it was about two serving's worth. She said it was one of the best she ever had. All fresh and using local ingredients.
If you want yours, Caffe Capri is off 48 and Tieton on the other end of the Jackson's building.
