Yakima Valley Libraries and Beyond are Celebrating Children’s Day
Reading is incredible! A story can take you out of your own head and transport you to a far away land. A book can inspire you to write down your own stories or allow you to feel like you are pulling back the curtain on a certain time period or place, allowing you to enjoy a front row seat in the action.
Books are turned into movies and plays while libraries are some of the best places to grab the latest novel by your favorite author and more for free!
Have you heard about Children's Day?
It is spreading across the nation and right here in the Yakima Valley as well!
Join us in celebrating el Día de los Niños! Stop by your Community Library during open hours and pick up a kids' treat and activity bag. Oh, and don't forget to check out some books while you're there!
