Yakima Valley Libraries Shutter Doors Due to Pandemic
The Yakima Libraries have made the announcement that they once again will be closing their doors to the public due to Covid-19. However that doesn't mean your access to them has to stop.
Yakima Valley Libraries has very convenient online access if you already have a library card. Just enter your library card number and gain access to not only digital books to read but movies as well!

Virtual Baby Lapsit - Tuesday January 26th, 2021 9 am - 10 am
This free event is hosted via zoom featuring
storytime, bounces, songs, and time for socialization for babies aged 0-2 and their parent/caregiver
You'll want to pre-register as space is limited
Virtual Trivia Night - Thursday January 28th 2021 at 8 pm
Every Thursday there is a trivia night across the Yakima Valley for teens and adults to face off against each other and claim victory! Trivia is always fun because you learn random facts to later share with others at random times.
The Winter Reading Challenge January 1st - March 31st 2021
You can play a sort of online bingo to win prizes.
grab a bingo game card, read, mark off the categories to complete a bingo or a blackout, and get entered to win fun prizes
There also offer virtual book discussions in Spanish and in English.
