Davis High School, along with the OIC of Washington, will hold the annual Black History Month Celebration during the week of Feb. 21 at Davis High School in Yakima.

The exhibit will be on display Feb. 21-24 from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. for students and from 3-5 p.m. for the general public.

There will also be a Soul Food Luncheon on Feb. 24 from noon-1:30 p.m. at the OIC of Washington gym, 1001 S. Ninth Ave.

The events are all free

The exhibit will feature art and artifacts from the subjugation of slavery through today. It includes musical contributions in film, arts, sports and business.
