Drive-Through Food Distribution in Yakima Saturday

It's not 300 boxes or 500 boxes, not even 700 boxes of food for distribution. No, this Saturday, July 18th, 2020 at the Salvation Army, 9 South 6th Ave, there will be 1,800 boxes of food boxes to be handed out to those in need.

This is a drive-through experience that begins at 9 am and will run until 11:30 am or until supplies run out.

All cars are asked to line up on 6th Ave at the back gate (your car would be facing north)

If you feel like you keep missing out on the latest food distribution spots I would for sure make sure to join the Yakima Cares and Selah local groups. Sometimes when the amounts of food boxes being given out are smaller we don't hear about them. Feel free to share this info with your friends and family as I don't believe you can pick-up boxes for other people. Just you.
