How are you feeling? Healthcare is expensive these days and any way people can cut cost is worth checking out. Your chance to get some free help happens this Saturday. A free health fair is planned in downtown Yakima this Saturday hosted by MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital.

THE EVENT WILL BE HELD IN THE ROTARY MARKETPLACE

It's planned from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the downtown Yakima Rotary marketplace at 15 West Yakima Avenue. That's the same place you'll find the Downtown Yakima Farmers Market on Sunday. The free community health fair will offer free diabetes screenings, blood pressure checks, cholesterol screenings and noninvasive colorectal cancer screenings.

YOU'LL ALSO FIND MENTAL HELP AND PHYSICAL THERAPY

There will also be information on mental health, nutrition, physical therapy and how to access community resources for medical assistance and education.
Plus, good new for parents with school age kids. More than 250 backpacks filled with school supplies will be available for families in need during the Saturday event.
