5 Surprising Booths I Saw in The Sundome At The Central Washington State Fair

With the business of life, and the non-stop and go, go, go that we all deal with, it seems like the Central Washington State Fair just started!

But nope, it is just about to wrap up it’s 2024 season!

Man, life just needs to slow down!

I finally was able to get to the fair, and was greeted with the usual fair amenities.

Carnival rides, fair food, smiling faces on children (and some crying because they didn’t get the giant inflatable Minecraft sword like they wanted because their wife… I mean parents would let them get it).

I’m at the age where I really can’t do the rides anymore, and I have to be careful which fair foods I eat (or make sure my schedule is cleared the next day) so for me and any fair, it’s usually the exhibits and vendors that are the draw.

Last year (I believe) the CWSF offered local craft vendors the opportunity to set up shop inside the Sundome for a certain period of time.

I think that is a fantastic idea, as someone who frequents craft and vendor fairs, it’s always fun to see something different and handmade next to the vendors who travel from event to event.

At this year’s trek through the Sundome, I tried to pay attention to booths that I had not seen at the fair before.

Some were crafts, some were just DIFFERENT, and at some, the person working the booth actually got and drew my attention.
