The next time you find yourself with an unused, wrinkly but not rotten Roma tomato don't waste it. Slice it up and plant the slices in your backyard, garden, or a pot. Water every day and after a while, you will have a bunch of little tomato starters.

It's fun to watch them grow and you get to watch the elements determine which ones last as the days go by. Wind will rock them, water will squash them and the elements choose which ones are left to thrive. After that you're just searching for the starters with the thickest bases, those are your movers and shakers. Decide how many plants you want for yourself and continue the process of paying it forward. One tomato at a time.

I can hook-up it up and maintain social distancing :)
