Seven Reasons to Shop Goodwill in the Spring
I'm a big fan of Goodwill; you'll see me in their stores at least once or twice a week. Spring time is one of my favorite times to shop at Goodwill. Not only because everyone donating everything from spring cleaning, but there are several reasons to swing by and browse that you may not have even considered.

You might not think about it, but when you have kids like I do, for some reason, you run out of spoons and forks. I don't have a clue where they go or where they might end up (maybe in the trash) but we actually start running out so I grab a handful. Why not, they're only 25 cents each!

Spring time is a great time for game hunting. Goodwill often carries games for PS2 and Xbox but you might get lucky and find some classic NES or Genesis games, too. You might even find newer games for new systems. I have several times.

They also sell new packs of socks there. Here's what you do. Throw away all of your old socks. All of them. Then buy a bunch of new socks, all the same kind, all the same color. Now you don't have to waste time picking out socks. You're welcome.

You never know what you're going to find in the glass case! I thought this was really nice. It was a chess or checkboard set with compartments in the unit itself. Handy for picnics!
