The most popular ones included strange real estate, odd weather facts, surprising food recalls, and bizarre lists.

Been a long time since they closed the doors for the Goodwill locations in the Yakima Valley. Fortunately, they've announced plans to reopen in accordance to the modified Phase 1 as soon as this Friday.

I'm just spreading the word that you need to head to your local Goodwill if you need to stretch your Back to School dollars!

The votes are in and the winner of our 2018 online photo contest to find Yakima's Spookiest Halloween Home Decorations has already donated the grand prize to a local charity.

After a week of taking submissions, we have some candidates for you to vote on. Goodwill's putting up a $200 gift card for first place, $100 for second and $50 for third. Vote by next Sunday (Oct. 28).

You could win a $200 Goodwill gift card if your home's Halloween decorations are voted the best in the Yakima Valley.

Often, when you shop at Goodwill they ask if you'd like to round up to help support job training. When asked, I always approve. All of that spare change is adding up as Goodwill thrift sales are going to help fund 62 scholarships in computing in Yakima as well as in Longview and Tacoma.
