Red Flag Warning for Yakima Continues Until 11 p.m. Tuesday
It's hot in the Yakima Valley and conditions are ripe for a big fire. As a result the National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for Yakima and many other areas in south central Washington. The red flag warning continues until 11:00 p.m. tonight.
The forecast for this evening shows Isolated showers and thunderstorms before 11:00 p.m. The forecast says some of the storms could produce small hail and gusty winds. Winds are also expected out of the northwest wind 10 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
