I can't remember the last time Washington has seen such a heavy snow dump like the one the National Weather Service has just issued.

If you're planning to head over the passes, make sure you check to see what the roads are like. I give the team at Washington State Department of Transportation a big hand and hearty thank you for helping keep the roads as clear as possible so that we can travel safely to our destinations!

PRO TIP: Don't drive like a maniac on the highways when there's snow and slush on the roads! Slow your roll!

Remember, chains are required to keep in your car when traveling over any of Washington's passes--even if you have a car that's All-Wheel Drive or 4-Wheel Drive. That's something I didn't even know until recently!
