Second Harvest, Washington’s Beef Community Are in a Giving Mood

Second Harvest and Washington's beef community want to give back to our community in a BIG way -- by donating not only delicious two-and-a-half pound beef roasts to families in need, but also potatoes, apples, onions and bread products.
Here are the dates and details:
- Tuesday, Dec. 10, noon -2 p.m., Toppenish Community Chest Food Bank 4 N. B St., Toppenish.
- Wednesday, Dec. 11, noon-2 p.m., State Fair Park 1301 S. Fair Ave., Yakima.
- Friday, Dec. 13, noon-2 p.m., FISH Community Food Bank (new location) 804 Elmview Road, Ellensburg.

A big thank you to Second Harvest and the Washington beef community, who in the past nine years have given out more than 2.3 million servings of beef and raised $938,000 to purchase beef for families in need.
