Secret Lifehack Inside the Door of your Car’s Gas

Do you have this little c-type unit inside the gas door? Chances are you saw it but didn't have a clue why it was there.

Not all cars have this, but if you do it's so you can place your gas cap there without it dangling by its tether. I used to have a car that didn't have the gas cap attached to anything so I'd just have to leave it laying on top of the gas pump and hope I don't forget it.
