The Yakima Humane Society is looking to get closer to their $150k fundraising goal by throwing a gala and party in the Modern Living Building at State Fair Park
Three more concerts have been announced for this year's upcoming Central Washington State Fair: Aussie '80s balladeers Air Supply, '80s rockers Survivor and Canadian rock outfit Theory of a Deadman are all scheduled to perform.
Yakima Transit will once again be providing free shuttle bus service to the Central Washington State Fair all ten days of the fair. Shuttle buses will run continuously from the Park and Ride location at Gateway Center. Passengers can get on at the bus stop located north of the former Office Max and head directly to the front gates of the fair, saving on parking fees.
The theme for the 2016 Central Washington State Fair is "Get Your Fair On!"
I wish they had added "Gurl!" to the end of that.

The bus service is setting up three Park & Ride locations in Yakima to get you to State Fair Park with little hassle.
Maddie & Tae, along with Parmalee, country legend John Anderson and rockers Blue Oyster Cult will headline the entertainment at this year's Central Washington State Fair. Announcing the acts Wednesday, State Fair Park President Greg Stewart noted there's a little something for everyone at the fair, which is Sept. 25-Oct. 4.
