I love me some Master Chef and tonight season 10 is premiering! Random Yakima tie in, we actually have a contestant from Yakima. Fat Pastor aka Shawn Niles! Have you heard of his amazing Urban Kitchen program? It is non-profit teaching children cooking skills and everything that comes with a restaurant from front of the house, ordering, preparing to service...

Shawn has competed on Master Chef and continues to spread his culinary knowledge throughout the valley. We are very blessed to have such a talented and kindhearted chef around!

Restaurants across the valley are participating in 'Restaurant Week.' They will have a special menu. And these restaurants will also help benefit Urban Kitchen. A program teaching youth how to cook.

Each restaurant that is set to participate has designed a menu with different price points depending on what you are looking for! With new additions this year, it is so exciting to see the amount of unique and delicious meals our valley has to offer.

A week where you can have food at participating restaurants. And help local youth learn how to cook.

In October, Yakima Valley Chef, Shawn Niles, and young students at Urban Kitchen will host a restaurant pop-up at the Yakima Valley Museum!
