The Summer isn't too far off, it's safe to say we've had enough of the cold and can't wait for sunnier days. Now the only thing you need to plan for is where to cool off.

Sure air conditioners, fans, even an ice bath could work, but why not have some fun in the sun while you cool off? Lucky for you, we have five of the best water parks in Washington for you to visit this summer.

5.) Yakima YMCA Aquatics Center

Keeping it local for the first stop, the aquatics center in Yakima is not only huge but a place to have a total blast. With waterslides, daily special events, and a lot of scheduled free swims you can't go wrong. Stop by this summer, take a dip and cool off in the heat!

4.) Splashdown Cove in Kennewick

This one is a little bit of a drive but a rewarding one, pack in the family and head out to Splashdown Cove. A big ol' water park with slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, and more! It's home to the 28-foot waterslide known as Mr.Twister, make sure ya don't eat before ya hit that slide, I hear it's a long way down.

3.) Surf'n Slide Waterpark in Moses lake

Always wanted to become a surfer but the drive to the beach is a little too far to catch some waves? Well, Moses Lake is only a hop skip and a jump away from you hitting the waves. Grab a boogie board, or if you're feeling brave a surfboard and test your skills on their wave rider. They also have some amazing slides, a lazy river, and a pool big enough for all kinds of swimmers. If you're not experienced no worries, lifeguards are always on duty and there's plenty of room in the shallow end. Wanna show off your skills on the diving board? They even have enough room for those. A great water park to give you a great time.

2.) Great Wolf Lodge in Centralia Washington

This place you won't have to wait until summer to get in, that's right Great Wolf Lodge is an indoor Waterpark with slides, lazy rivers, wave pools, food, bars, games, and more. The perfect place to cool off in the summer or a place to create your own summer any time of the year.

1.) Wild Waves and Enchanted Village in Federal Way

This park you can't miss when driving on I5, it sticks out like a sore thumb with huge water slides, roller coasters, and a lot more to offer inside. Wild Waves has its own wave pool, multiple waterslides with and without inflatable rafts, a lazy river you only have to leave at closing time, and an entire theme park of rides. Wild waves also cater to families with little kids having a kiddie pool with plenty of attractions including zip lines, water caves, and a whole bunch more.

Ready to dry off and grab some food, no problem, head over to the enchanted village side to get a bite to eat and check out all their dry rides, meaning no water, unless you get on the Lumberjack ride. All that being said this could be a top contender for the best waterpark in Washington.
