I've always been fascinated with the process of making stuff. From visiting the Tillamook Cheese Factory in Oregon to watching my friends make their own beer, I love the journey. This simple video shows how they make aluminum cans. We take for granted every day how ingenious the design is.

It's gone through a lot of changes from where it was to where it is now. This video also describes why cans aren't cube-shaped to save room in stacking and why they're not spherical to make them more sturdy.
