HEADS UP: Yakima Taco Fest is a 21+ event.
TacoFest is back in Yakima for 2023 and foodies' mouths from all over Washington are salivating.
WHAT IS TACOFEST?
If you have never been to TacoFest before, imagine about a million taco trucks and beverage trucks in one central location. You'll hear Latin music and a DJ in the background. You'll see thousands of strangers who are about to become your new best friends. You'll be standing in line to taste some of the best tacos from around the Central Washington region.
HUMBLE BEGINNINGS
TacoFest had humble beginnings as an intimate event hosted by the Central Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. It was held on Front St in historic downtown Yakima. Most recently, the event has been celebrated in the wide open spaces at Sarg Hubbard Park. This year, the event is moving to State Fair Park at the Yakima Sundome. This means there will be more parking, more music, more fun, more VIP stuff, and most importantly, MORE TACOS.
And if you decide to go VIP style this year, you'll be whisked away to the VIP Experience section, with private perks that the general public won't get to enjoy. I have gone as a VIP every year that I've attended and I would be doing so this year, but as luck would have it, I am out of town the weekend of this year's TacoFest. (That means more tacos for you, ha!)
WHAT: Taco Fest brought to you by the Central Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce with presenting sponsor, Valley Mall in Union Gap, WA.
