Rob Phillips is an award-winning outdoor writer living in Yakima, Washington. His articles and stories have appeared in dozens of regional and national publications over the years. He has had over 1200 articles and countless photos published since he started writing professionally in 1986. His column, “The Northwest Sportsman” has appeared in the Yakima Herald-Republic almost every week for 29 years

If you haven't read a good book in a while, I highly recommend this series. How local is this author? Let's just say last week I hosted a rotary event and one of the auction items was not only signed copies of his books but they got to name a character in one of his upcoming books! Can you imagine how fun that would be?
