Yakima Gives Back Big for the 2019 Golf to Give Classic

The Memorial Foundation does some pretty incredible fundraisers, and their Golf to Give Classic is one of my favorites. So if you have missed the chance to give back while golfing, there is always next year.

The weather was perfect last Friday (Sept. 13) as multiple teams lined the Apple Tree Resort golf course in hopes of getting a hole in one and winning a new car. Last year it happened and the winners were back and on the attack, but most were there to raise money for an incredible local group -- our local Children's Village as well as the NICU at Virginia Mason Memorial. The amount raised was $53,000.

Every dollar earned goes right back into our valley and it makes me so incredibly proud to cheer on such giving people.
