We are just days away from Fall, Tuesday, September 22nd, 2020 to be exact and Pacific Northwest dropped off the prettiest box yet, showing off so many bright colors and delicious offerings our local Valley has to offer.

If you are not familiar with ordering boxes of produce it's a great way to support local businesses as well as test out local ingredients that you might normally steer clear of. You can donate to a family in need or sign-up for a box if you are currently in need. Want to win a box?

Fresh produce and fruit

For this box, I will for sure be making Ginger Acorn Squash Soup. I'll use the base of the bok choy instead of celery plus the onion, with a chicken stock I made the last time I purchased a rotisserie chicken. A trick I am excited to see if it works is washing and freezing your ginger in a bag. Once a recipe calls for it you just grate the amount you are searching for!

I love adding extra crunch to my breakfast tacos so maybe it's time to try pickling these radishes.

Plus it's time to start working on some serious baking so I am going to throw down an apple pie this week.

Recipes to come.
