This weekend was super fun, I had my second drive through party experience with my co-worker and friend Nikki celebrating the coming of her second baby with a shower that was going to be socially distant but due to Covid-19, it was switched to a drive-through experience. It was really nice to jump out of the car and chat for a minute, I don't shop for babies so I got a little carried away. I mean when it's a unicorn-themed shower and you find this piece, do you say no?

It's incredible to see how time is flying by. We shut our office down in late March so I've really only seen the on-air staff in person and from afar. You don't realize how much you miss the interaction and it truly puts your relationships into perspective. Are you noticing this?

For over a month now on Sunday evenings, I have been chitchatting with my roommates from college. Clerisse and I lived in the same dorm, she was roommates with Margaux our first year - the one who is crushing it as the WestCoast Titan on The Titan Games, I never knew that Cleriss's habit of getting up early for a run was inspired by her time living with Margaux! :)

The next year WANJOR was created. Washington, New Jersey, and Oregon when Jill arrived. We pretty much spent the rest of our college days with each other. Clerisse and I were both in Presidents Club and once a quarter they would have super swanky dinners with free drinks and crazy delicious food, Jill was always our date.

We drank too much, got on each other's nerves but also created an awesome bond that over 10 years later still works.

No matter where you are in your life right now, there is someone out there that loves you. You've changed their life in some way and sometimes we need a reminder. So instead of waiting for the phone to ring. Pick that thing up and reach out. It could be a text, a message on social media or a video chat but something to connect to those that you love is super important, especially in a time like this where we really aren't getting too much interaction.
