Times are tough but when the tough get going there's no stopping them! I don't know where you are sitting financially and emotionally this holiday season but I'm going to point at the fact that everyone struggles in different ways and you can take comfort in the reminder that there are a lot of bright lights among the dim bulbs!

A giving spirit is among us in the Yakima Valley and it comes in the form of a talented man named Q'Swyft! Recently his single, Champion, was played during the pre-game warm-up for the Washington VS Seattle Thursday night NFL game! I had him on the show to share how that all took place and that wasn't all we talked about!

While chatting about life and making moves he mentioned he's always wanted to sponsor a family for Christmas and I said, we would be happy to help spread the word. Q wants to know what would make your holiday more special this year so below, you can fill out the form, and next Friday, December 10th we will have him in to announce the winner, but that's not all!

Q also knows that basketball shoes are tough to come by for some families SO he ALSO wants to gift a lucky girl or boy a pair of size seven Kyrie Basketball Shoes! You can find the photo below, enter via the same form, just mentioned you've got your eye on the shoes!

Don't be afraid to follow your dreams, because you never know where they will take you!

And We Have Our Winners!

  • The family that's been adopted is that of Lucy Wade! Her story was inspiring and through tough times all she wants is to see smiles on her kid's faces. Boom! You're a winner!
  • For the brand new pair of Kyrie 6's that is going to Navea, her Mom was hoping to find a pair to gift her daughter and once again, Q'Swyft to the rescue!

Exciting Announcement

Starting tomorrow on BET, Champion will be played at Noon, 8 pm and 4 am on Saturday and Sunday and then he's in rotation on the station. Big congratulations to you and we can't wait to see it on the big screen!

LOOK: 50 famous memes and what they mean

Stacker hunted through internet resources, pop culture publications, and databases like Know Your Meme to find 50 different memes and what they mean. While the almost self-replicating nature of these vague symbols can get exhausting, memes in their essence can also bring people closer together—as long as they have internet access.
