Reesha On The Radio, here! So, don't tell anybody this, but today I played 'hooky' and snuck over to the Selah Lavender Harvest Days to pass the time. Oh em gee, there was the sweet smell of lavender for MILES! Gorgeous (and it smelled fantastic, too).

I have never been to a lavender harvest, so I didn't know what to expect. Well, according to the Facebook invite that I saw, there will be a lot to see and do! Things like, making your own lavender wreath, jumping into the U-Cut Lavender section, trying on and then purchasing some lavender-based products, like soaps, lotions, and oils, and more! There's even some vendors on site with beautiful art projects and home decor stuff for sale.

Meanwhile, I discovered they had a table with the best treat in town: Lavender Lemonade! I tried a taste of it, which you will see in the video below. I about passed out and died! It was sooo yummy! I was supposed to only take a sip and sample, but off camera, and between you and me, I tried to drink the whole container. Since that sort of behavior is really frowned upon, I do not recommend it! :-D

Well, there you have it. I went to a lavender harvest, but all I saw was the DRANKS! I need to get that recipe from Adele, the owner, asap! Yes, please!
