A World Famous Super Sonic is Moving to the City of Seattle!
As much as I wish we were talking about Basketball we're actually talking about the brand new Sonic The Hedgehog movie. The legendary Sega character found his way to the silver screen in 2020.
When they released the first commercial fans lost their minds, but not in the way the studio was hoping for. Fans everywhere criticized how horrible and freakish their new design of Sonic was. It got so bad that they went back and redid the entire movie.
When it finally hit theaters fans fell in love, they had absolutely nailed the character and him existing in our world. On his journey, he became friends with some humans and made an enemy or two along the way.
Jim Carrey co-starred as Dr.Robotnick the evil scientist and big bad guy in the Sonic video games. When the movie ended we got to see Jim Carrey with the iconic Robotnick mustache and the promise of another movie.
Sure enough, the new trailer dropped today and Sonic is in Seattle! He's moved to Emerald city and has some new friends to help him out including Knuckles, Tails, and more! While he's here he's decided to start fighting crime. What will Sonic come across while being in Seattle?
Well, I'm hoping we get some overhead shots of T-Mobile park, Lumen Field, the Gum Wall, maybe even Jimy Hendrix's statue. It also got us curious about who he'll run into. Russell Wilson, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos maybe even Chris Pratt?!
Maybe we're getting a little ahead of ourselves. Check out the brand new trailer below and see where all the excitement is coming from.
