The Moxee Hop Festival is Coming Aug. 2-4

The Hop Festival is back and ready for action Aug. 2-4 at the Moxee City Park and IT'S FREE!

In addition to one of the Yakima Valley's favorite parades, the royalty, the music and the traditional breakfast in the park, highlights include a raffle, pony rides, Dave Ettl's magic, Mr. & Mrs. Giggles, craft and food vendors, a dunk booth, bingo, kids' games and family fun for everyone.

Unless otherwise specified, all activities will be in the city park downtown.

Here is your schedule:

Thursday, Aug. 2

4-10 p.m. -- Soft opening with food vendors, craft vendors, kids' games.
5-9 p.m. -- Teen Talent Showcase on the Park Stage, featuring Abby Brown, Tempest NW, Winner of Apple Arissa Connel plus more.
10 p.m. -- Park closes.

Friday, Aug. 3

Noon -- Festival begins with food and craft vendors setting up shop.
4 p.m. -- Beer Garden opens.
5 p.m. -- Opening announcements.
5:30-6:10 p.m. -- The Extraordinary Renditions.
6:25-7:20 p.m. -- Pastel Motel performs.
7:30 p.m. -- Royalty presentation.
7:45-8:40 p.m. Wiseblood performs.
9 p.m. to closing -- Karaoke.
Dusk -- Enjoy the fireworks!

Saturday, Aug. 4

7-10 a.m. -- Breakfast in the park.
8-11 a.m. -- Morning music with "americanstandsband"
9 a.m. -- 5K Family Fun Run/Walk.
10 a.m. -- Parade, corner of Postma and Iler streets.
11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. -- Los Trovadores-Mariachi.
1 p.m. -- Junior Royalty.
1 p.m. -- Mr. & Mrs. Giggles.
1:15-1:50 p.m. -- Bob Deccio, accordion master.
2-2:45 p.m. -- Line dancing.
2 p.m. -- Dave Ettl magic.
3-3:45 p.m. -- Jazzercise with Brenda and Friends.
4 p.m. -- EVHS Rally Squad demo.
4:20-5:30 p.m. -- Danny Austin Band performs.
5:50-6:40 p.m. -- Flying Buffalo performs.
7-7:20 p.m. -- Abby Brown performs.
7:30 p.m. -- Outstanding Service Award presentation.
7:45 p.m. -- Raffle drawing.
