I've been a gamer my entire life, some of my earliest memories were playing Donkey Kong on the Super Nintendo. When I first moved to Yakima I started trying to find little "Nerd Havens" around the city. Little did I know there was a lot waiting for me.

I was driving last week when I spotted a sign on the side of the road that had the 1up green mushroom head from Super Mario Brothers. Out of curiosity, I had to stop in and take a quick peek. What I saw made me reminiscent and excited as if I was that little kid again.

As soon as you walk up to the front door and peer inside you can see they have close to everything. Statues, toys, video games, Funko Pops just to name a few. They had everything from back in the day that made gaming the industry it is today to everything current in gaming and collecting! The first thing that stood out to me was the wall of Funko Pops, they had things there that are even hard to find online. If you're looking for a specific figure these are the guys to call, they have the largest collection of Funko figures in the greater Yakima area. I'm talking from South Park to Seinfeld, Batman to Captain America absolutely everything I would want to collect was on that wall, which means I'll be making a trip back soon just for that.

The Video Games were the next thing to catch my eye, of course, They had retro consoles like the Super Nintendo, the Nintendo 64, and the games to go along with it with half of a wall dedicated to the old school games alone! The wall across from the retro section is new and used games for the Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Not only do they sell games but they buy them as well making their selection grow as they sell! When it comes to accessories look no further, controllers, headsets, memory cards, carry a plethora of new and retro versions of each thing i listed. They even have the old school gun controllers for the Nintendo and a few other consoles.

Collectibles are the next huge thing I noticed, their statue selection, some of them I had been looking for, for years, others I didn't even know existed...so once again, I'll be going back very, very soon.

Even if their selection hadn't sold me on the store their employees did, they went above and beyond to make my experience a pleasant one. They asked what I was looking for if I had any questions, and when I asked them about the history of the store and shared my experiences and love for gaming they obliged. They shared my love and interest in gaming, they showed me their selection of games, pops, and collectibles and told me about how their shop runs and how much they love doing it.
