Yakima Valley Restaurant Week Finally Returns! Things to Know

Foodies in the Yakima Valley are rejoicing everywhere with the delightful news that Yakima Valley Restaurant Week has finally returned.

The last Yakima Valley Restaurant Week was in 2021, right during the middle of the COVID pandemic.

It has been three years since we've been able to save money while tasting delicious food from local restaurants in the Valley.

My favorite Yakima Valley Restaurant Week experience was when I got to eat at the most expensive restaurant in the Valley for practically pennies on the dollar! It was a gourmet meal and the chef brought me one of his special handmade chocolates from the kitchen.

The restaurant has since closed, but the special memories I have of that meal will last in my heart forever! I owe it all to Yakima Valley Restaurant Week!

Here is what we know about the return of the Yakima Valley Restaurant Week food festival.

The food festival will last for two weeks, beginning on Tuesday, April 19th and ending on Thursday, April 28th.

Be on the lookout for menus from participating Yakima Valley eateries. These YVRW menus will be limited in scope, highlighting only the dishes the restaurant wants to feature.

Prices for each meal during Restaurant Week will be set at a fixed price. In other words, no negotiating a lower fee with the restaurants!

Because of the increase in costs operating a restaurant in 2024, do not expect "budget" prices for meals. If you find one, fantastic, but don't be surprised to see the cost of food to be on the spendier side than years past.

If you are salivating for more chances to explore restaurants you wouldn't ordinarily try without these Restaurant Week special prices, why not venture out to Seattle Restaurant Week, which runs April 14th thru April 27th. We just missed Restaurant Week in Spokane, which ended last week on March 4th, dang it!

Oregon is celebrating Beaverton Chamber of Commerce Restaurant Week from March 1st thru March 15th.
