Ballesteri’s Coffee House Offers Exceptional Breakfast and Lunch!
It's not every day you come across a sit-down restaurant that serves drip coffee at your table and espresso to go. Perfect for the person, me, that is in need of triple the caffeine on Fridays!
Welcome to Foodie Fridays with Sarah J powered by Coca-Cola of Yakima and Tri-Cities as I explore the hometown favorite, Ballesteri's. Located at 4001 Summitview Ave #3, Yakima, WA 98908, Ballesteri's is currently open every day from 7 am - 2 pm. I'm trying to find out how long it's actually been open so if anyone out there knows, send the info my way.
The air quality isn't the best currently so enjoying a seat on the patio was bypassed, to each their own, and I wandered inside to snag myself a table. You know this is a local favorite because as I tried to hide the fact I was taking pictures of everything a sweet little lady named Susanna asked, "are you on assignment?" "I actually am for 107.3 KFFM, would you like to be in the photos?" She said she's never been into having pictures taken of her, so instead, the back of her head may or may not be in the below gallery.
The menu features breakfast and lunch items with a wide selection of favorites like pancakes, French toast and three egg omelet options. I am a HUGE fan of eggs benedict so I went with a traditional serving with a side of hash browns that I overheard the waitress describe as, "tiny shredded French fries". Accurate description. They were light and delicious and the creamy eggs benedict was cooked to perfection.
A little after 8 am seems to be a good time to show-up, not too busy with regulars and plenty of room to enjoy some coffee and a catch-up. You can easily call-in an order to go, including fancy coffee and fresh baked goods. Lunch is full of delicious options and they even carry a fancy line of tea that I had chose to add a tin of Earl Grey to my order.
This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat and supporting local is never a bad thing so if you're searching for a delicious breakfast or lunch, make sure to add this to your list of places to check out or revisit soon.
