If you have been pinching pennies lately or are looking for copycat recipes, why not try this budget-friendly version of Guy Fieri's favorite chicken dish from a Washington State restaurant?

You can make with simple ingredients. Just because someone may be sourcing food from a food bank or food pantry, or supplemented with food stamps doesn't mean you can't cook up your own version of a 4-star meal, like the kind Guy Fieiri has enjoyed right here in Washington!

Bobby's Hawaiian Style Restaurant: Mochiko Chicken Featured on Food Network

In 2018, Fieri visited Lynwood, Washington, to eat the crispy, authentic, and delicious traditional Hawaiian recipe, Mochiko Chicken at Bobby's Hawaiian Style Restaurant. Mochiko Chicken is a traditional Hawaiian recipe that has been passed down through generations of Hawaiian and is the next item up for cooking in my kitchen now that I have come across the recipe.

The restaurant was featured on Episode 76, Around the World on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives: Triple D Nation.

"It's an international affair as Guy Fieri revisits old favorites. The Triple D Nation took notice...in a Hawaiian hideaway in Seattle [that] has branched out to serve sweet island treats..." - Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives: Triple D Nation[/pullquotes]

The recipe has a 5-star review on Food Network!
