I know the audio is bad, but this is basically what Kelly is saying in the video: Finding out you have a child with a disability can be terrifying. The costs begin to overwhelm you, the number of specialists and appointments can seem endless, so every dollar raised helps to ease a bit of stress.

"That's $200 a week that I don't have to worry about, she can just focus on her health It doesn't include the orthotics she needed to go through to walk and play, she's going to see a gastric specialist here in town which means I don't have to drive to Spokane or Seattle. The money that's raised here goes to families just like mine, families that just need help. Families that are scared and are just finding out that their baby has an extra chromosome and don't even know what that means, you are helping them. All the money raised makes such a HUGE difference."

And it truly does. 2019 was a record-breaking year with over half a million dollars raised, Costco being a HUGE contributor with over $143,000. It was my pleasure to assist with the sound this past Saturday morning as the torch was passed from the amazing Fransisco, 2019's CMN child to Lily this year. Even the Mr. Davis and Mr. Ike candidates woke up early to support.
