It's the age-old question., to get a tattoo or to not get a tattoo. Some start super young like SZA, getting her first tattoo at 13 years old! My husband got his first around the age of 16 but I waited until I was in my mid 30's. My Mom is about to retire and JUST got her first tattoo, by a fantastic local artist named Chevy Cortez.

Chevy Cortez

Chevy is a pretty talented dude, creating digital images for local businesses, volunteering his time to local youth, working a full-time job all while building a following of clients for his latest dream turned reality, tattoo artist.

I've been following his work for a while and when my Mom dropped the truth bomb she was ready for HER first tattoo, he was the person I contacted.

Moxee Hop Festival

While we were there he mentioned his upcoming booth at the Moxee Hop Festival, taking place Friday, August 6th through Saturday, August 7th, 2021, where he will have a tattoo booth! In honor of this exciting adventure. He is offering a chance for YOU to win one of the $50 tattoo selections!

You Could Win a Tattoo

This prize isn't for touch-ups or giant sleeve pieces, if you want to book that or a tattoo party, make sure to reach out to Chevy Cortez on social media. This is for those individuals who are searching for something smaller, maybe a first tattoo, maybe your 30th. No matter. We're turning it up each Tuesday with #tattootuesday!

How Do I Enter and Win?

Set your alarm for 11:25 am this Tuesday, July 26th, and next Tuesday, August 2nd for your chance to call in 509-972-1073 and win!

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
