It's the most wonderful time of the year and if you love all things candy cane, have I got a treat for you.

The best candy cane milkshake in America, resides right here in the Yakima Valley, at Burger Ranch to be exact.

It's a specialty item on the menu, dropping the day after Thanksgiving, i think, and boy is it worth the wait.

I've tried McDonald's peppermint, tasted the Peppermint Stick's year-round offerings, and expanded my taste buds to include Arctic Circles candy cane shake but the supreme shake, in my humble opinion, resides at Burger Ranch. Fight Me!

If you are curious why it tastes different, Burger Ranch has a secret recipe plus they don't use any of those green bits of candy cane.

It's pink and satisfying, will give you a tummy ache and a brain freeze if you down it too fast but it's almost hard not to chug! I've gifted it to candy cane haters, yes they exist, and received the comment, "I really don't like candy canes but this is amazing!"
