Getting a chance to speak with Bridget Turrell of Virginia Mason Memorial I got a sense that I and you are not alone in our feelings of uncertainty while we navigate the Covid-19 pandemic. No one has been in this position before so some days you laugh, some days you cry, and some days you can call Virginia Mason Memorial's new Covid-19 Emotional Support Line at 1-509-823-7808.

The number was created for the community to reach out about stress, anxiety, loneliness — and anything that is going on.  You can speak to someone in English or in Spanish if you prefer. It could be asking financial questions regarding bills or medical questions. You could find out the latest places to get tested or just talk about the fact that you wake-up daily thinking you have a new symptom.

The professionals on the other end of the line will work through your questions and concerns, direct you to more resources if need be, and hopefully put you more at ease.

Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 am and 4:30 pm until further notice you can call 1-509-823-7808 for emotional support and so much more. There is absolutely no shame in reaching out for help. It's important to be able to acknowledge you aren't feeling comfortable and it will help you in all aspects of life being able to find words for the feelings you are going through.

Here are some tips for self-care during the pandemic:
