What Was Your First Reaction When You Tried Mexican Pastries?

Pan Dulce, Conchas and more. There's a lot out there and it all looks fantastic and, to me, they taste great, too. Although I think my kids were in for a shock when they took a bite thinking it was more like a cookie or cake.

Most are a sweet bread. Not like a doughnut or cake with frosting as many of them might look like.

Once I told them that, they got it and enjoyed them just fine. We still have more to try, too.
