There's no better way to wrap up Foodie Fridays with Sarah J powered by Coca-Cola of Yakima and Tri-Cities than figuring out which fair food at the Central Washington State Fair is your favorite!

The Central Washington State Fair will be open through Sunday, October 3rd, 2021 with gates opening each day at noon. Yesterday, if you happen to go between 12 pm - 6 pm, it was Coca-Cola day so there was a taste testing booth set up near the front entrance. It featured the brand new to stores coke with coffee cans. They feature flavors like Vanilla and Coffee Coke (the favorite) a sugar-free version of that, Caramel and Coffee Coke or the Dark Blend featuring a sugar-free version as well. If you like coke and you like coffee, it's worth a sip!

Before starting my shift at the taste testing booth I decided to wander inside the Sundome and around the grounds to grab a few bites to eat. There are SO many options I ended up just taking photos of everything and it got me thinking. I know what my favorite fair food is, an elephant ear. But what's the number one fair food for the Yakima Valley?

Send us a message if you've got an awesome fair food photo you'd like added to the gallery!

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
