Yakima Valley Rocks Kids Painting Party Thursday (Aug. 22)

Gotta love the drive-through :)

I was grabbing some McChickens, my go-to in a pinch. (Side note: I miss the spicy McChicken, anyone else?) Anyway, after I confirmed I had honey mustard for my french fries I was informed of a very cool and very FREE event for the whole family this August!

From now until Aug. 21 the McDonald's at 19 E Yakima Ave is collecting school supplies.

On Thursday, Aug. 22 they hosting a FREE kids rock painting event from 5-8 p.m.! During that time there will be drawings for backpacks and school supplies.

Yakima Valley Rocks is an awesome group that you are more than welcome to join. Seriously spreading creativity and happiness throughout our valley and beyond is what we are all about, so the next time you are at the store and are able to pick-up items like; pencils, pens, paper, folders, binders, backpacks, highlighters, crayons, markers, glue, tape, calculators, notebooks, erasers, rulers, sharpies, composition books, scissors and more please do so and then let's create some awesome rocks together :)
