The Yakama Nation begins its commemoration of the Treaty of 1855 with a parade on Friday and a pow wow out in White Swan. Everyone is invited to join the festivities.

The 162nd Annual Yakama Nation Treaty Days Commemoration Pow Wow took place at Whiteswan, WA. Many people came from all over the Northwest, even from Alaska. This Pow Wow commemorates the Treaty of 1855. The year the signing of the treaty took place.
This Saturday (Sept 17), the American Indian Business Leaders, a chapter of Heritage University, and the Native American Club are hosting the First Annual All-Nations Pow Wow.
