The hills are alive with the sound of complaining. We all do it. If only I had this or if I wouldn't have eaten that I wouldn't feel so bloated. Some of that ish is just good old fashion venting but if we're not careful we can turn into a salty Susan and honestly, ain't nobody got time for that.

So instead of frowning all-around town how about we get up and go for a good cause?

The 2019 Turkey Trot, benefiting the Yakima Greenway and Camp Primetime, chose a new date, November 28th, Thanksgiving. As luck would have it we came into a pair of passes to participate.

Enjoy your day by giving back, burning some calories and maybe complaining while you are walking, running, jogging, rolling but at least you get to do it with your bestie.

P.S there MIGHT be more than one pair so if you're feeling it, go for it :)

I stepped on the scale this morning and was so happy to see I weighed in at 184 and then for some reason I chose to do it again before I left the house and I weighed in at 186, you lying sack of ****. I am going with the first one and pretending like I didn't see the second one.

Side note: Don't torture yourself by checking your weight every day. Depending on the time of day, what you ate or didn't even your water consumption will fiddle with the number so pick a day and a time and do it up once. I like Tuesday, hence my tales from the scale drop each week.
